New signs are up in the parks and at the beach
Beulah Brainstorm Update: More results of the community’s work are evident with the coming of summer. Lovely new signs for the parks and beach area are up, student painted trash cans and 3 new pebbled cans are in the parks or on the street as well as the new bike racks in Fair and Northway Parks. Ten new flower boxes were added downtown as well as 3 new park benches and a new picnic table. Two of the new benches were a result of citizen donations and if you’d like to help provide funds for more, please contact the Village Office and Laura will take your information. New beach sand was added and the boat ramp upgrade is waiting on permits, fortunately the water level is up. Your input and support are welcome please consider attending the Village Council meetings.
Beulah Boosters host 1st Annual Family Picnic and Taste of Beulah event in the Village Park.
On Saturday, June 28 about 150 people enjoyed the weather, children’s games, music by True |
North and a soccer demonstration as well as food provided by local businesses. Hosted by the Beulah Boosters, the goal of the event was to welcome summer to Beulah and invite people to volunteer for activities that support Beulah. One major focus is to provide volunteers at the Betsie Valley Trailhead Building on weekends, which started over the 4th of July. The volunteers work 3 hour shifts to greet visitors and provide information and maps available in the building. Beulah Booster tee shirts are also available for $10. Contact Joan Duggan to get your tee and to sign up a shift or to get on the master list of volunteers that can help with other activities. Call Joan at 231-882-0262 to learn more or help.

Thank You sign from the Beulah Boosters to the businesses who donated for the Taste of Beulah
